Thought of the Day:
On my morning walk around my neighborhood today, I immersed myself in the smorgasbord of colors, sounds, and smells. I noticed my neighbor’s bushes, which had been completely covered in spider webs. I noticed a huge bush of white and yellow flowers growing next to my mailbox.
A neighbor had informed me recently that the white and yellow flowers were actually weeds that needed to be pulled. I smiled and replied that I thought they were beautiful and that every day I picked a new one with my daughter to bring to her father as a gift.
Another person had mentioned to me that the spider webs would need to be cleaned from the bushes because they were an eye sore. I thought they were one of the most spectacular and awe inspiring works of art I had ever encountered.
What lovely reminders that everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.
