Plant based diets have been linked to just about every health benefit imaginable, including improvement in mental health. I follow a mostly plant based diet and recommend it for many of my patients. There are tons of amazing recipes online, but this is one of my most favorite as it’s super easy and quick to make, quite nutritious, delicious, and smells soooo good to wake up to in the morning. I prefer to substitute almond milk for soy milk and in addition to nuts and dried berries or raisins, I add fresh berries or bananas on top for a delicious breakfast, or any meal! It also saves very well and you can easily make a big batch and then heat up servings when you need them.
