I do a lot of work in mindfulness with my patients and am a huge believer in its curative powers! I do my best to find as many mindful moments as I can throughout my day. As today was a snow day (and work from home day), I had the opportunity to find a great mindful moment. I took my dogs into my backyard/forest and paused halfway through the trek. I just stood there for a few minutes, feeling the cold air on my skin and filling up my lungs. The smell of the cold, woodsy air. The sight of all the white fluffy snow, trees and sunlight. And the sounds of near silence. A perfect moment to BE in the moment, and let the rest of the universe fade away.

I encourage everyone who reads this post to do the same – find your mindful moment today!
